Barrymore wants to take on dark roles

London, Jan 24 (IANS) Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore has starred in numerous romantic comedies but now wants do darker roles.According to thesun.co.uk, Barrymore got the idea of doing darker roles during a conversation with an air hostess.

She recalls: “I remember one stewardess on a plane saying, ‘What do you have coming out?’ And I said, ‘Oh, I’m doing this romantic comedy.’ She said, ‘Another one!’ Part of me felt like saying, ‘Listen, b***h.’ But the other part of me felt like, ‘You know what? You are absolutely f***ing right. I need to change. I need to do other things.”

Barrymore has starred in hits as “Fever Pitch”, “50 First Dates”, and “Music And Lyrics”.
